Job Description
Under the supervision of the department manager, the operator must adjust the machine, respecting established standards and the order of priorities.
Responsibilities
Check that batches of material dedicated to the operation are adequate.Regularly check with the “Buffer Manager” that the order of priority of tasks is adequate and corresponds to the requirements of the production flow according to TOC principles.Communicate with the team leader any anomalies or variants in the product to eliminate from production faulty parts which could be rejected further down the production line.Adjust the machine according to the type of material used.Place parts at the machine infeed and retrieve them at the outfeed.Repeat operation if necessary.Re-arrange parts into batches, ready for the next stage of production.Perform assembly tasks as required.Knowledge and Skill Requirements
