Water Truck Driver - Class 1
A leading Industrial Gas supplier that serves various industries including Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Medical Equipment Supplier in Brandon, MB is seeking Class 1 Drivers 4 in 4 out schedule.
COMPENSATION
$28.00 - $32.00 / Hour + OT Availability.
Overtime compensation : First 4 hours of overtime paid at 1.5x Hourly Rate & After the first 4 hours overtime is paid out at 2x Hourly Rate.

SHIFTS
Day Shift : 70 hours per week, for 14 hours per day, on either a 4ON / 4OFF rotating shift or 4ON / 3OFF night shift schedule
Reporting to the Regional Transportation Manager, the Driver handles safe delivery of bulk gas or water supply and
liquid
tanker trailers , including b-trains to small on-site plants on heavy Trucks and trailers.
The successful Water Tanker-Truck driver must have more than 3 years of driving dangerous goods experience including haul liquid tankers.
Preferably, experience handling atmospheric / cryogenic gases and related equipment combined with secondary education, Class 1 Driver License, (AZ equivalent for Ontario)
Daily Duties :
- Deliver and Pick-up industrial gas containers and medical / oxygen equipment
- Follow high safety standards and effectively communicate any safety hazards to the transportation department of regional office
- Lift, up to 75 lbs and able to coordinate vehicle maintenance process
- Knowledge of provincial roads, able to make decisions in a critical situation following regulatory instructions & policies
- Responsible for representing the company in a professional, calm, and customer friendly manner
- Able to go in and out the cab (3 feet above the ground) using 3-point contact several times a day
- Thoroughly monitor the loading and unloading process of cryogenics and refrigerated liquid products
- Must be able to complete TDG documentation, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required reports
Qualifications & Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 / AZ)
- Minimum 36-months of driving experience
- Able to meet US DOT requirements and able to cross the borders
Minimum 24-months of driving liquid tanker trailers
- Must have valid FAST Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Technical knowledge of equipment repair
- Proficient user of GYS and other data and location tracking software
