Job Summary :

Windsor Salt’s Ojibway Mine in Windsor, Ontario, has openings for Journeyman Machine Repairpersons proof of completion of an accredited Skilled Trades Ontario program is required (e.g., 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, 310T - Truck and Coach Technician ). These individuals will be responsible for maintaining stationary and mobile industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced environment. Employees may be assigned to positions on surface (in the mill or maintenance shop) or underground (in the mine). Employees will be expected to work on all three shifts (days / afternoons / midnights) and work overtime as required.

• Please note that candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check and medical / audio exam upon offer acceptance. Windsor Salt is a unionized facility (Unifor Local 1959); successful candidates will be required to join the union upon commencement of employment.

The starting wage for this role is $47.81 per hour ; increases and premiums are in accordance with the CBA. This posting is for new positions. Windsor Salt does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
