The successful candidate will promote our geotechnical engineering teams with clients in different areas such as infrastructure, mining, oil & gas industries to name a few.

This role will be a mix of field and corporate engineering - travel to site is required

Responsibilities

• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team to execute geotechnical projects
• Preparing technical reports, project scheduling & resourcing, meeting project deadlines and budgets
• Involvement in business development activities and participating in bidding process & proposal writing
• Establishing, developing, promoting, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
• Leading the geotechnical field investigations, piling testing and construction QA / QC
• Be involved in multi-discipline projects in the areas of geotechnical design for foundations, retaining & shoring systems, mining facilities, slope stabilization, roads, and other

linear infrastructures

Fostering a culture of safe work practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ geotechnical engineering experience
• Must be registered with APEGA or EGBC as a E.I.T.
• Strong computer skills and familiar with several geotechnical software programs including Slope-W, Sigma-W, Seep-W, Slide, Settle-3D, L-Pile, A-Pile, Civil 3D knowledge with

AutoCAD

• Experience with pile testing (PDA, CSL and PIT) would be an asset
• Able to write and speak compellingly on both technical & non-technical topics
• Business Acumen along with strong communication skills
