Position Overview :
The SST Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards on construction projects. This role requires CNESST accreditation and a deep understanding of Quebec OHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and monitor OHS programs and protocols.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with CNESST standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and supervisors.
- Maintain OHS documentation, including risk assessments and compliance records.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to mitigate risks.
- Liaise with CNESST and other regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications :
CNESST accreditation as an SST Coordinator.Minimum of 3 years' experience in OHS within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of Quebec OHS laws and CNESST requirements.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Work Conditions :
