Position Overview :

The SST Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards on construction projects. This role requires CNESST accreditation and a deep understanding of Quebec OHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and monitor OHS programs and protocols.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with CNESST standards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain OHS documentation, including risk assessments and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with CNESST and other regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications :

  • CNESST accreditation as an SST Coordinator.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in OHS within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec OHS laws and CNESST requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions :
