Weare currently searching for Class 1 Tanker Truck Driver for longertermwork.
Thisposition involves the safe operation of equipment to completeassigned jobs. Operators should be mechanically inclined andphysically fit to work in all kinds of weather.
Preference will begiven to candidates that possess previous experience in theindustrialsector.
- Ensureproper loading and unloading of cargo; adhere to weight limits andensure proper utilization of company equipment.
- Complywith Company policies and procedures Health and Safety proceduresDepartment of Transportation and Hazardous Materials / Wasterequirements and regulations.
- Completedaily scheduled deliveries and services in a timely manner.
- Highestattention towards customer and client satisfaction by providingexcellent service always.
- Completeand maintain all required paperwork and documentation properlywithin set time lines; this includes daily logs dispatch and tripreports demurrage and time sheets.
- Followall local provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Performpre and post trip inspections follow company policies andprocedures for routine maintenance perform general housekeeping toensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency toSupervisor.
- Safelyobserve all company operating guidelines and procedures.
- Observeall company environmental health and safety operatingguidelines.
Requirements
- ValidClass 1 driver s license with a clean driver abstract
- Musthave 2 years experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
- Mustpossess the following safety tickets but not limited to; FirstAid / CPR Construction Safety Training (CSTS) Transportation ofDangerous Goods (TDG) and H2S Alive
- Demonstratea commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Abilityto work independently while managing time and productivity
- Mustbe capable of performing physical duties (lifting bending climbingkneeling crouching)
- Availableto accept after hour calls when requested and sometimes may spendnights in the truck
- Strongreliability andintegrity
Schedule :
- 810 or 12 hourshift
- Day / Nightshift
- Overtimeafter 44 hours in aweek
