Senior .NET Developer (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location

This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote).

Office Locations :

Burlington location @ 3215 North Service Road, Burlington, ON, L7N 3G2 (near hwy. 403 QEW and Guelph Line)

Starting April 2025, Burlington location will be relocated to our Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)

Summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic Application Development Team in a permanent full-time position. This position reports to the Development Manager, Application Services. You will develop features and to support our Clinic Operations Division in software delivery of custom business solutions. You may often liaise with stakeholders and third-party vendors to acquire business requirements, concepts and objectives.

About You

You are an individual with technical skills and acumen who is willing and able to contribute at a senior level. You are a coding geek with many years of professional work experience. You enjoy working with C# and building reliable, bug free applications (especially for the web). You are committed to a career in creating applications using dot net and C#. You enjoy working with your peers, assisting junior developers and working with stakeholders to gather requirements and performing demos in QA or UAT.

Your Tech Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of experience developing, testing and debugging web apps using .NET core in the C# language (experience with .NET 4+ will be considered)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience developing applications using HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Minimum 7 years of experience profiling and debugging applications (remotely and locally)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Visual Studio (2017+)
  • Experience developing web applications using .NET MVC and OOP techniques
  • Experience developing, testing and supporting custom RESTful API’s
  • Experience with jQuery / JavaScript and how to manipulate the DOM
  • Experience with database models in MSSQL and writing queries
  • Experience with GIT including branching, merging and resolving merge conflicts
  • Experience and ability to architect solutions via Object Oriented Design
  • Ability to uncover system design problems and to remediate resolution tasks following SDLC best practices

  • Our technology stack is comprised mainly of : dot net core (6 & 7), .NET 4 Web Forms (some legacy apps), .NET MVC (with Razor), Web API, Telerik / Kendo UI components, CSS / SCSS, jQuery / JavaScript. Our main storage engine is MS SQL Server and some instances of Redis. Our hosting facilities are located on Azure with some lower traffic apps hosted on-premise.
