Merchandiser (Independent Contractor)

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 19-23 hours per week on weekdays!

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the presentation of floral and packaged nut product displays across multiple store locations. The ideal candidate will visit assigned stores 2-3 times per week to ensure displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and properly priced. This role also involves updating seasonal displays, managing inventory, and executing store-specific marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Display & Product Maintenance : Organize and condense displays to maintain a neat, fresh, and attractive presentation. Restock and update packaged product displays as needed, including adjusting seasonal displays and pricing.
• Inventory & Ordering : Manage inventory by identifying low stock and placing product orders, ensuring displays are always fully stocked and organized.
• Planogram Execution : Follow planograms to ensure products are placed according to store-specific guidelines. Execute promotional displays, end caps, and other marketing programs.
• Reporting : Submit daily call reports documenting the condition of displays, inventory levels, and actions taken during each store visit.
• Collaboration : Work closely with store personnel to ensure displays are consistently appealing and meet all merchandising standards.
• Plant Care (Floral Only) : Water and care for flowers and plants according to their specific needs, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant.
• Cleanliness & Organization : Keep the floral display area tidy, dispose of trash, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
