What You’ll Do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for Edge Traffic Infrastructure, ensuring our networking architecture evolves and remains resilient to affirm’s growing needs.
• Define and deliver a vision, strategy, and roadmap on a year-long time scale for ingress and egress points of our system, tying that roadmap back to business impact.
• Collaborate across teams—infrastructure, security, and other engineering teams—to build reliable, secure, and scalable networking infrastructure that meets the needs of our external partners and internal teams.
• Improve key metrics for availability, performance, and resiliency.
• Take ownership of your team’s operations and availability by ensuring the right monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, testing and alerting are in place to support on‑call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership on your team by setting code review and design standards and advocating for them beyond your team through writing and tech talks.
• Help develop talent on your team by providing feedback and guidance, and leading by example.

Equity Grade – 7

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).

CAN base pay range per year : $178,000 – $228,000 .
