What We’re Looking For :
- Curriculum Expertise : Ability to teach Language and Math for students from JK to Grade 8. OCT certification is preferred, but not required.
- Experienced Educators : Background in tutoring or mentoring with at least 1 year of practical experience.
- Strong Communication Skills : Excellent ability to convey concepts clearly and effectively.
- Friendly and Approachable : Must be warm, easy-going, yet assertive when needed.
- Multi-tasking Skills : Comfortable working with up to 2 students simultaneously.
- Organizational Skills : Demonstrate ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
- Local Applicants : Candidates must reside in Aurora, Ontario, Canada or surrounding areas for in-person teaching.
Your Role :
- Provide personalized one-on-one or small group tutoring using provided materials no preparation required.
- Focus on engaging directly with students, with no involvement in parent or administrative tasks.
- Assess student work and provide meaningful feedback to support their academic growth.
