Key Responsibilities Include
Manage various 3
party telematics hardware vendors that work with Mojio to interface their hardware with our platform. This includes reviewing upcoming hardware revisions, managing their quality assurance, considering similar products from competitors.
Assist and manage a small team to validate HW / FW releases from suppliers for key performance tests required for deployment with our customers.
This includes long-term testing, vehicle testing, and advanced Mojio features testing.
- Work with product and CTO to identify roadmaps and roadmap items that will drive our future customer needs either from the HW perspective or other ecosystem players.
- Manage special projects, typically for new customer areas, from initial prototyping for PoC through to production if the PoC is successful.
- Interface with customers and potential customers to provide hardware knowledge and support. Typically for new requests, issues and special projects.
- Support end-to-end triage and debugging of issues from the HW / FW / 3
party perspective. Understanding low-level tools to triage issues and work with engineering support to investigate / resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in the cellular connected device field from a HW / FW perspective.
- Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS systems
- Experience in managing 3
party vendors providing both hardware and software
- Managing / mentoring junior team members
- Experience in working with QA on deployment configuration and release management
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience in the telematics / fleet / connected car field
- Experience with operating large-scale Azure and / or AWS cloud systems
- Experience in working across multiple groups to manage development operations
