Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, International and Community Education in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation, the eLearning Specialist is a project-based position whose main responsibility is the creation of effective online learning tools and courses for the Faculty. The Faculty will use this position to promote and implement online learning tools and courses throughout its programs. Over the course of the term, this position will work with over 20 Faculty and ATS instructors and various staff on course development, evaluation tools and support and promotion of online teaching.
The specialist will be required to work in a diverse and complex working environment and have the ability to communicate and gather information effectively and efficiently in a variety of situations.
This position will also work on projects directed by the Director of ICE to design specific courses, micro-credentials, and / or professional development work for the Faculty.
