We are currently looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Apparel Product Developer to join our team in Vancouver, BC.

PleasenotethisjobislocatedinourVancouverofficeandisexpectedtobeperformedon-site.

Responsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto:

• Producedetailedandaccurategarmenttechpacks,includingBOM,specifications,anddesigndetails.
• Specandevaluatefitsamplestodeterminecomplianceofmeasurements,workmanship,construction,washdirection,andfit.
• Maintainconstructionandfitconsistencyaccordingtobrandguidelines.
• Takepartinfittings,preparation,measuringandphotographingofprototypes,SMS,andPPSonandoffmodels.Takingdetailednotesoftherequiredfitandconstructioncorrectionsandconveyingcorrectionstofactories.
• Gradingandreviewinggradedspecs,andconveyingcommentsandcorrectionstovendors.
• Analyzeandcommunicatetheoutcomeoffittingsandconstruction,andwashcommentswiththeproductdevelopmentteamandvendors.
• LiaisewithinternationaldevelopmentteamsinChina,Japan,Europeandbeyondtosolveproblemsthroughoutthesamplingandproductionphases.
• Hasaproactiveapproachtoadvancingtechnicalandproductdevelopmentknowledgethroughmentorshipandtrainingfromotherproductdevelopmentteammembers.
• ResponsibleforfitsampleandPPSmanagementandorganization.
• Assistwithfabricandgarmentcaretestingasrequired.
• Assistwithcareandcontentlabelupkeepanddevelopment.
• FollowthegarmentfromSMSstatethroughproduction.
• Takeonspecialprojectsasneeded.

AdministrativeDuties:

• Updateandmaintainalllinesheets
• Organizedesignfiles,artwork,etc.
• Documentandorganizenewwashes,finishesanddyetechniques
• Maintainandorganizetrimlibraries
• Sortandarrangeallfabrichangersbyseasonandclassification

Abilities:

• Demonstratedabilitytomaintaintimelinesandmeetcriticaldeadlines.
• Demonstratedabilitytoworkeffectivelyinateamenvironmentandindependentlyastheprojectrequires.
• Attentiontodetail,initiative,organization,strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipletasksandcompetingpriorities.
• Self-motivatedandstrongproblem-solvingskills.
• Abilitytoworkandthriveinafast-pacedenvironment.
• AbilitytonavigateOneDrive,MicrosoftOffice,andTeamswouldbeanasset.
• Willingnessandabilitytolearnarecrucial.
• Keeninterestinfashion,denim,streetwear,andluxurybrands.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelorsdegreeinarelateddisciplineorequivalentprofessionalexperience.Traininginproductdevelopment,technicaldesign,orpatternmakingispreferred.
• 5yearsofexperienceinappareltechnicaldevelopmentorproductdevelopment.
• Hands-onexperiencewithgarmentmeasurementsandPOM.
• ProficiencyinusingAdobeIllustratorandAdobePhotoshop.
• ProficiencyinusingMicrosoftExcel.
• Excellentcommunicationskills.
• Knowledgeorexperienceinfittings.
• Abilitytoworkinmetricandimperial,includingfractions,wouldbeanasset.
