The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an intermediate level front-end developer who would be interested in a remote fulltime permanent opportunity located in Montreal, QC.
Candidates must either be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. We are not able to offer this role to someone who is on a work visa or who is being represented on a C2C basis.
Requirements
- Experience programming in Javascript and Typescript
- Experience with modern web technologies (React.js, node.js, CSS, HTML5, docker)
- Experience interfacing frontend with backend (GraphQL, REST API, Websocket
- Capable of understanding, interpreting and analyzing remote sensing data
- Experience with AWS services (EKS, ECR, S3)
- Competence with databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience using software development tools such as Git version control and Docker
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimum direction
Nice to Have
- Experience with OpenLayers / WebGL
- Experience with deployment using ARGO
- Interest in scientific analysis, atmospheric sciences, remote sensing and space technology
- Geographical Information Systems
- Familiar with the Scrum Agile Framework
