Job description

As a Senior ESG Advisor in the Commercial Banking sector, your role will be to support account managers in integrating ESG into the Bank's practices and those of our clients. You will have the opportunity to join a team that will allow you to grow in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.

Your Role

  • Support our sales force from the initial pitch to financing certification. Serve as a point of reference for account managers regarding business opportunities related to sustainability and climate.
  • Contribute to the development of the ESG strategy for the sector and support the long-term marketing of sustainable financing.
  • Develop and deliver training on ESG, ESG financing products, and financing processes for various stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with all Bank teams involved in sustainable financing, such as Risk, Treasury, and Public Affairs.
  • Conduct studies, analyses, and reports on trends and best practices in sustainability and sustainable finance across various industries.
  • Participate in the governance and certification process for sustainable financings.

Your Team

The Commercial sector supports clients operating in a wide range of industries. The ESG team, composed of 4 members within the Vice-Presidency of Sales Performance and Business Delivery Strategy, develops and governs sustainable financing products, equips and supports the sales force to better serve our clients, and certifies the sustainability compliance of transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience, including one year in ESG, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, sustainable development, engineering, etc.); a related Master's degree and professional certifications (CFA, CPA, MBA)
  • Good understanding of the financial and banking sector, with strong business acumen.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships of influence.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary, complex, and fast-changing environment, with the ability to collaborate closely with various teams and external partners.
