Kinésiologue bilingue / Bilingual Kinesiologist - Bathurst - Physio Max at CBI Health
CBI Health is Canada's leading community healthcare provider. Our Bathurst Physio Max centre is looking for a bilingual kinesiologist to join an interdisciplinary team to help clients return to work and daily activities at all stages of rehabilitation.
Responsibilities (English)
- Treat clients following Motor Vehicle Accidents, long-term disability, referrals from the Workers Compensation Board, and private clients in a gym setting;
- Work under the direction of the physiotherapist or occupational therapist regarding treatment, progression of treatment, and client management;
- Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs;
- Complete employer assessments, such as the Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET), and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm the ability to meet essential job demands;
- Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician;
- Assist the treating clinician with return-to-work planning;
- Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized, and safe.

Traiter les clients à la suite d’un accident d’automobile, en invalidité de longue durée, référés par la Commission des accidents du travail et les clients privés dans un gymnase;Travailler sous la direction du physiothérapeute ou l’ergothérapeute en ce qui concerne le traitement, les progrès du traitement et la gestion du client;Concevoir et mettre en œuvre un programme d’exercices thérapeutiques pour répondre aux besoins identifiés par le client;Compléter les évaluations de l’employeur, telles que l’analyse des exigences physiques (Physical Demands Analysis), le test d’emploi après l’offre (Post Offer Employment Testing) et l’évaluation des capacités fonctionnelles (Functional Abilities Evaluation) afin de confirmer la capacité de répondre aux exigences essentielles du poste;Préparer les rapports de progrès et de congé délégués par le clinicien traitant;Aider le clinicien traitant à planifier le retour au travail;S’assurer que le gymnase est présentable, organisé et sécuritaire.What you will need to be successful
Must be fluently bilingual (French / English)Be a graduate of a Bachelor of Kinesiology programHave excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently;Be comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team;Have excellent oral and written communication skills;Be willing to continuously improve your skills;Be empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with patients;Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel;Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients’ needs by exceeding their goals;À propos de nous / About Us
