Accounts Payable Accountant
Our Richmond based client is seeking a permanent full time Accounts Payable Accountant to join the team.
Benefits :
- Competitive Salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000

Reporting to the team lead, you will be responsible for :
- Timely and accurate processing of transactions and maintaining documentation
- Liaising with vendors and staff to collect invoices
- Ensuring proper verification and approval of invoices
- Coding and entering invoices to the accounting system
- Completing vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner
- Credit card and bank reconciliations
Other duties include :
- Filing, scanning, copying and other tasks as assigned
- Preparing monthly job costing for the trips
- Ad-hoc tasks
Successful Candidate :
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience with a focus in Accounts Payable
- Accounting diploma or certificate at post-secondary level
- Strong technical knowledge and high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
