Job descriptionInformation technology (IT) infrastructure Confer with clients to identify requirements Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes and solutions meet business requirements Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems Resolve conflict situations Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization’s IT infrastructure Project implementation Information technology (IT) service delivery Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Repetitive tasks Attention to detail Sitting Combination of sitting, standing, walking Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Initiative Organized Team player Flexibility Innovation Analytical
