About the Role
My client is seeking a dedicated Payment Systems Support Specialist to join their my client in Montreal. This role supports critical payment and settlement systems, including the Montran JGPS application, real-time interfaces (SWIFT, FEDWIRE, CHIPS), and downstream systems (Treasury, AML, Sanction Filtering). You'll ensure the seamless operation of these systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the Montran JGPS application for USD payment processing and settlements.
- Manage upstream / downstream interfaces and ensure data reconciliation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes.
- Execute production support activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and maintenance.
- Lead technical / functional projects, from gathering requirements to testing and implementation.
- Document processes, conduct user training, and perform system enhancements.
- Provide on-call and weekend support when required (additional compensation provided).
