About the Role

My client is seeking a dedicated Payment Systems Support Specialist to join their my client in Montreal. This role supports critical payment and settlement systems, including the Montran JGPS application, real-time interfaces (SWIFT, FEDWIRE, CHIPS), and downstream systems (Treasury, AML, Sanction Filtering). You'll ensure the seamless operation of these systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the Montran JGPS application for USD payment processing and settlements.
  • Manage upstream / downstream interfaces and ensure data reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes.
  • Execute production support activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and maintenance.
  • Lead technical / functional projects, from gathering requirements to testing and implementation.
  • Document processes, conduct user training, and perform system enhancements.
  • Provide on-call and weekend support when required (additional compensation provided).

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience : 3–5 years in payment systems support, with exposure to platforms like SWIFT, FEDWIRE, and JGPS.
  • Skills : Strong troubleshooting ability, project management, and technical expertise.
