You’ll work on a wide variety of files, handling everything from client intake to resolution. Your Role as a Junior Lawyer
You’ll be an integral part of the personal injury team, assisting in the management and handling of files from intake to resolution.
Key responsibilities include :
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to create effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on issues related to Alberta laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, records, and documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Alberta.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
- Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
Requirements
- Called to the Bar in a Canadian province and licensed to practice law, or a Foreign Trained Lawyer with completed NCA and permanent residency in Canada.
- 0-3 years of experience handling personal injury files.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.

- Pay : From $80,000.00 to $90,000 per year
