Position : Liquor Supervisor
Full-time : 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability : Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss
- Offer product expertise and guidance
- Assist with the management of team members and operate point-of-sale terminals accurately and efficiently
- Receive, display, and promote merchandise with proper care and attention.
- Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail
- Support the manager in organizing, directing, and coordinating the department to achieve budgeted goals
- Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications :
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment
- High school diploma preferred
- Must have valid ProServe certification
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Previous retail experience is an asset
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets
