About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power.

Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia.

We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

The Role

The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August) and will assist with a variety of projects and other day-to-day activities.

Students will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.

In this role you will :

  • Co-ordinate all aspects of mine site tours
  • Assist with co-ordinating wellness activities
  • Assist with facilities projects

Required :

  • You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Must have a valid class five driver’s license
  • You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

Preference will be given to residents of Saskatchewan’s north (RSN) pursuing post-secondary education.
