What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Controls Department as we are actively recruiting for a Controls Integration Specialist . This position reports to the Controls Integration Manager.

What we’re looking for

• Create, develop, and integrate Process and Safety PLC programs
• Understand and setup machine communication protocols
• Design HMI graphics, system diagnostics, status and alarm messaging
• Integrate robots (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Nachi, Motoman, Panasonic etc.) for various process applications including GMA (gas metal arc) welding, resistance spot welding, material handling, continuous path dispensing, and vision systems.
• Configure and integrate resistance weld controllers and GMA power sources
• Develop welding processes
• Configure and integrate vision systems
• Integrate servo and VFD systems
• Demonstrate proficiency across a variety of software platforms
• Perform machine start up and onsite commissioning at customers facilities (valid passport, driver’s license and ability to travel outside of Canada required)

Wage range : $25 - $30 hourly
