French & Spanish Teacher/Tutor Wanted

Oxford Learning Kitsilano has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, enthusiastic, and dynamic French teacher who seeks work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our French Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students ranging in age from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in French.
Tutor-teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Position Requirements
All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (3:30pm - 7:00pm) as well as some Saturdays from 10:00am - 1:00pm. A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.
Candidates must possess a strong background in spoken and written French, Spanish, and English and be comfortable teaching up to a Grade 9 level, but up to Grade 12 is preferred. The candidate is required to instruct class sessions in French/ Spanish.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
