What Will You Do?
Prepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Overhead schedules)Post monthly journal entries, adjustments, and accrualsPerform monthly reconciliations including prepaid accounts, accrued purchases, freight, and clearing accountsComplete HST / GST and QST reconciliations and remittancesAnalyze monthly expenses and investigate variancesPrepare reporting packages and key financial ratios for leadershipAssist with budgeting and annual forecastingMonitor fixed assets and post depreciationReview and resolve unusual COGS and inventory-related discrepanciesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirementsProcess corporate income tax payments and investor loan interestAssist with coding and posting credit card transactions and collecting receiptsWhat Do You Bring?
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reportingExperience with reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close processesProficiency in accounting software and ExcelHigh attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and manage deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-based environments is an asset#MT1
