What Will You Do?

• Prepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Overhead schedules)
• Post monthly journal entries, adjustments, and accruals
• Perform monthly reconciliations including prepaid accounts, accrued purchases, freight, and clearing accounts
• Complete HST/GST and QST reconciliations and remittances
• Analyze monthly expenses and investigate variances
• Prepare reporting packages and key financial ratios for leadership
• Assist with budgeting and annual forecasting
• Monitor fixed assets and post depreciation
• Review and resolve unusual COGS and inventory-related discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Process corporate income tax payments and investor loan interest
• Assist with coding and posting credit card transactions and collecting receipts

What Do You Bring?

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-based environments is an asset
