The Role

The Data Platform team powers Pantheon's data infrastructure and delivers analytics across the company. We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team and define what a mature data organization looks like at Pantheon. You'll partner directly with the VP of Engineering.

What you Need to Succeed

• Lead and develop a team of 5+ engineers (software and analytics) through 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning.
• Own the technical strategy and operations of Pantheon's complete data platform.
• Architect scalable, reliable data systems while maintaining SLOs for business‑critical pipelines.
• Partner with Product, Sales Ops, Finance, and Executive leadership to deliver high‑impact data solutions.
• Establish sustainable processes that balance strategic platform work with business support needs.
• Drive self‑service tooling and a data‑driven culture across Pantheon's teams.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and technologies in data engineering, analytics, and modern data platforms.
• Continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for data architecture, testing, pipeline reliability, and documentation.

The Canadian base salary range for this position is 133,390 – 166,738 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
