Portfolio Analyst

Guardian Capital Advisors LP (“GCA”) is a subsidiary of GCG, provides customized investment solutions to high net worth clients. Working closely with the Client Portfolio Managers (CPM) in a challenging and highly motivated environment, you will be a member of a top-performing team serving a clientele of sophisticated, high-net-worth investors. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of the research process, client service, compliance, documentation, monitoring, portfolio analytics, implementing investment mandates and assisting in the management of portfolios.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Portfolio Manager Support (45%)

• Provide back-up support for Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs) situated in the Calgary office.
• Assist in trading, cash management and client portfolios.
• Assist in managing select client relationships and / or portfolios.
• Attend client meetings with CPMs
• Assisting in the preparation of client marketing presentations, proposals, questionnaires and data requests.

Research and Analysis (20%)
