We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality carbon steel pipe welds that meet X-ray quality standards. This role involves a combination of shop fabrication and field welding work, with projects primarily located in Ontario and occasional out-of-province assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Perform carbon steel pipe welding (Group 1 / P1 Carbon Steel) in accordance with applicable codes and specifications.
Produce X-ray quality welds with strong efficiency and productivity (expected joints per 8-hour shift).
Weld socket weld piping from to 2 and butt weld piping from 2 to 12.
Weld a variety of pipe fittings, including but not limited to :
Read and interpret isometric drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
Ensure all welding work meets ASME Section IX, TSSA, and company quality standards.
Maintain proper housekeeping and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Participate in shop welding and field welding work on an approximately 50 / 50 basis.
Travel to job sites as required (primarily within Ontario, with occasional out-of-province work).
Any other duties as assigned by management.
About You :
510 years of pipe welding experience.
Valid TSSA Pipe Welder Certification under ASME Section IX (mandatory).
Proven ability to produce X-ray quality welds.
Strong understanding of welding procedures and safety practices.
Willingness and ability to work both shop and field environments.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required.
