Carpenter / Site Operations Lead

Position

Maison Design+Build is currently looking for an enthusiastic Carpenter to join their talented team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in their Saskatoon office.

Responsibilities

• Work in coordination with Project Manager and Site Leader to meet project schedule and milestones
• Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints, diagrams and plans in preparation for execution on various sites
• Determine the type and amount of material required for each project
• Plan for and transport all required materials and equipment to site
• Construction of wooden structures such as concrete forms, frameworks, scaffolding, and similar elements
• Installing wooden structures such as frames, stairways, rafters, partitions
• Inspecting the integrity of structure upon their instillation
• Establish methods to meet work schedule and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
