Technology - CA Tech Finance Analyst III

You will assist with the forecast process and narratives / explanations in collaboration with Finance

• Start : ASAP
• Estimated length : 11 Months, possible extension
• Location : Mississauga
• Hybrid role - 2-3 days

Responsibilities

• Assist with facilitating workshop training sessions to gather requirements for finance systems
• Recognized as the Subject Expert in certain finance systems and also lead testing and delivery of features
• Working with tech / business partners in understanding system implications to financials
• Document requirements and manage project plan
• Assist with the month-end / quarter-end reporting of results and narratives / explanations in collaboration with Finance
• Assist with the forecast process and narratives / explanations in collaboration with Finance Assist with Managing & Monitoring Month End Activities
• Evaluating existing processes and identifying areas for improvement, managing and relaying the execution of standard processes and controls by providing guidance and expertise on company policies and procedures related to financial and systems controls.
• Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders;

soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency.

• Assist with Managing backend office services such as accounts payable, Jira management,
• Assist with other Finance or back-end office tasks as required

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related finance role.
• Experience creating budgets and PO’s.
• Good Communication - cross-communication with different teams & vendors
• Experience supporting Journal Entries & month-end processes.
• SAP / OMS system experience
• Retail Background experience is an asset.
• Proved experience in Financial planning and analysis
• Supply Chain Experience is a strong asset.
