GFL Environmental is growing, and we’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Vaughan. In this role, you’ll design, deploy, and support secure network solutions that drive our enterprise operations. We’re looking for a hands‑on professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and collaborating across teams.

What You’ll Do

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, access points)

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on network design and deployment

Architect, implement, and support network and security solutions

Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues (L3+ support)

Maintain network documentation and mentor team members

Support after‑hours deployments and site modifications

What You Bring

Degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of experience in network design and implementation

Certifications such as NSE4+, CCNA+ (CCNP / NSE7 an asset)

Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, and virtualization technologies

Experience with AWS / Azure networking, firewalls, IAM, and automation scripting

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
