Located on the South Shore of Montreal, our company is looking for a controller who will want to grow and stay within the organization.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the position holder will be responsible for all accounting aspects of the company.
Your Responsibilities / Your daily life
- Perform the full cycle of accounting functions;
- Prepares the cash flow report and submits recommendations;
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets with analysis of monthly deviations from the plan and developing an action plan to compensate for negative variations;
- Monitoring disbursements for current large-scale projects,
- Reconciles and analyzes the monthly and annual financial statements of operating companies;
- Reconciles and associates inter-companies;
- Prepare and respond to tax obligations (sales taxes, withholding deductions, taxation);
- Oversees the payroll process and journal entry;
- Works in collaboration with the business intelligence director to develop management reports.
Your Qualifications / Your superpowers
- CPA accounting title (Essential requirement)
- 3 to 5 years experience in the manufacturing sector
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Team spirit and leadership
- Rigorous, organized and proactive
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving field
- Experience in SME in an active and evolving environment
- Flexible & desire to improve your knowledge
- Must have worked on MRP / ERP systems
