We are recruiting for this fantastic role on behalf of our global client. Join their dynamic IT team and take on the role of Senior IT Administrator, a crucial figure in strengthening and advancing the company's IT environment.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the chosen candidate will employ a hands-on approach and innovative thinking, backed by extensive IT expertise.

Responsibilities :

  • Supervise the daily operations of the on-premise ESXi / Windows infrastructure, ensuring smooth upgrades, robust security updates, and dependable backup systems.
  • Lead the management of the on-premise Cisco and FortiNet-based networking infrastructure, including device configuration, performance monitoring, and expanding network capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Utilize the corporate Service Desk platform for day-to-day tasks, maintaining the CMDB meticulously and ensuring documentation standards are upheld across the team.
  • Oversee the corporate HQ Active Directory organizational unit, expertly managing GPOs and monitoring the AD object lifecycle.
  • Manage corporate HQ objects within the Office 365 tenant efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop innovative tools and methodologies for overseeing the company's on-premise, remote workstation, and mobile device fleet.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for high-impact or complex IT issues.
  • Work closely with the IT architect to implement robust security measures, maintain compliance standards, and enhance infrastructure efficiency.
  • Deploy new systems, applications, or software solutions as required by business needs.
  • Foster collaboration with third-party contractors and consultants to enhance infrastructure capacity and support implementation efforts.

Requirements :

  • Preferred : University or technical college degree in a relevant technology discipline; self-taught candidates with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, and other relevant technologies.
  • Minimum of three years' hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows Server systems and stacks in an enterprise environment at L2 level or higher;

familiarity with Linux is a plus.

  • Proficiency in enterprise service desk systems and application of foundational ITIL concepts.
  • Experience deploying VMware ESX stack, configuring server clusters, and managing associated physical infrastructure.
  • CCNA-level expertise in enterprise L2 / L3 networking, with a solid understanding of modern enterprise access layer technologies, network segmentation, and defense strategies.
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level workstation and endpoint management, including mass deployment, configuration management, and AV / EDR.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling confidential information accurately.
  • Project management proficiency, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration in both independent and group settings.
  • Adaptability to work with diverse cultures across various time zones.

Additional Desired Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell; familiarity with other scripting languages, web programming, or DBA skills is advantageous.
  • Experience or interest in IT security, supported by specific skills and knowledge.
  • Basic managerial experience, including team management, budgeting, and presentation creation, is beneficial.
  • Advanced writing skills demonstrated through experience in developing policy documents or drafting technical manuals are advantageous.
