The following knowledge criteria will also be evaluated :

  • Knowledge of contracting law and contract management principles to support effective implementation and oversight.
  • Knowledge of contracting and public procurement methods.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles and processes.

To be considered, candidates must have :

  • Post-secondary education in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
  • Experience in human resource management, such as supervising and managing performance, managing tasks, mentoring and coaching.
  • Experience in providing advice on procurement or contracting policies, practices or procedures.
  • Experience in analyzing procurement requirements and in providing advice and viable solutions to clients on all aspects of the procurement process.

Asset(s) :

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in accessibility and inclusion approach to procurement and contracting.
  • Experience with Federal Government contracting reporting processes.
