Our Not-for-Profit client is seeking a Purchasing Manager for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. In this role you will be responsible for developing and supervising the organization’s procurement function

The Purchasing Manager’s duties will include :

• Creating and implementing procurement policies, processes and systems
• Identifying, developing, and leading cost-reduction strategies, procurement practices, sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations
• Providing training, and advice across the organization to support understanding and compliance with relevant procurement policies, processes and legislation
• Developing an annual procurement plan
• Leading the RFx process
• Other duties as required
