Mandatory Skills andExperience :
2 yearsexperience as a UI Designer
Provenexperience as a visual Designer with a portfolio showcasing yourwork (i.e. : logos animations visual designs graphics) anddemonstrating design thinking skills
Proficiency indesign tools such as Sketch Adobe Photoshop Illustrator Invisionetc.
Advanced understanding of selfserve and eCommercewebsites and mobile apps
Advanced experience with userinterface design for digital assets (website ecommerce platformsselfmanagement platforms)
Experience with user interfaceguidelines and typical conventions for iPhone Android and WindowsPhone
Team player excellent communication skills andability to multitask
Strong aesthetic skills with theability to combine various colours fonts and layouts
Strong attention to visual details
Experience with Agileprojects
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in graphicdesign arts fine arts computer science or similar field isrequired
User interaction design training and / orcertification an asset
DomainKnowledge Requirements :
Familiarity with User Experienceand User Interaction design considered a strong asset
Familiarity with the telecommunications industry considered anasset
Familiarity with selfserve flows eCommercewebsites selfmanagement portals and mobile apps
Responsibilities :
Providing industry trends design thinking andbest practice guidance on visual designs
Design newfeatures for SaskTels selfserve platforms (eCommerce selfmanagementportals and mobile app)
Working closely with the SaskTelUser Experience and digital teams on visual design for complexinterface flows
Incorporate SaskTel corporate standardsand industry best practices into solution design
Develophighfidelity visual designs for digital assets
Identifythe scope of work and provide estimates for User Experience (UX)and User Interaction (UI) activities
Participate in andlead design reviews from a UI perspective
Deliverdesigns from concept through to development
Understanding functional capabilities of Frontend design anddeveloping modular visual designs to support the tech team duringimplementation phase
Utilizing style guides containingseveral different styles and visual themes for designs
Ensuring consistency across visual design systems
Ensuring Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are applied onvisual designs
Identify the scope of work and provideestimates for any visual design activities
Maintain UIprofessional development and certifications (asappropriate)
Other UI duties as required
