Sandwich Maker - Nunavut Camp Setting

Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

The Sandwich Maker is an integral member of the culinary team. Working night shifts, the Sandwich Maker prepares a wide variety of sandwich and specialty items to fulfill the bagged lunch program. The Sandwich Maker will work with culinary leads to present attractive and well-prepared products each day.

The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a Nunavut camp setting with the following amenities :

• All meals and accommodations are provided
• Travel is provided to and from the site locations from a designated hub location in Edmonton, AB
• Private room with cable television
• Access to Wi-Fi
• Access to laundry facilities and detergents
• Access to a gym and common areas

Key Responsibilities :

Deli and specialty sandwiches as per daily production requirements

Work schedule and remuneration :

Sandwich Makers work on a rotational schedule of 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off.  Site locations are in remote settings, requiring air travel to site from Edmonton, AB. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays. Wages are paid on an hourly basis with a starting rate of $19.75
