Responsibilities
- Representing and growing the Family Office Services brand within the firm with a focus on delivering a world class experience in all facets of the process, from internal business development to the ultimate delivery of client engagements.
- Building and maintaining a strong presence across regions to continue to build awareness and confidence in the Family Office Services practice, including preparing and delivering internal and external presentations, both independently and in conjunction with other professionals across service lines, along with more focused business development activities with individual GPs or smaller subsets of professionals.
- Arranging introductions to clients through GPs as a result of these activities to secure client engagements across a broad suite of services.
- Leading the engagement process, including conducting meetings both independently and in conjunction with other professionals, managing the workflow and preparation of deliverables in an efficient and effective manner, and presenting solutions to clients.
- Deepening relationships with both clients and other professionals to identify other opportunities to add value and forge long-term, collaborative relationships.
Skills and Experience
- CFP / PFP designation required
- Either CIM or CFA designation required, CFA designation is preferred (progress through CFA curriculum can be considered)
- 7+ Years of client-facing, financial services and / or wealth management experience
- Strong proficiency in with financial planning software (i.e. Planworth, Naviplan, WealthPath, or equivalent), Morningstar Direct or equivalent, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Highly skilled relationship builder and manager
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of delivering successful results for clients and their organization.
- Strong time management skills and able to work across multiple projects concurrently.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with an eagerness to learn and expand skillsets.
