We are seeking a Sales Leader to drive business growth and position Haney Builders as the go-to supplier for the lower mainland.

Position Overview :

The Sales Manager will oversee both contractor and retail store sales, playing a pivotal role in transforming the business. This individual will be tasked with creating strategies to penetrate new markets and grow our existing customer base. We need someone with a proven track record of building relationships, delivering results, and opening up new markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Business Growth :
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities and relationships to expand market share.
  • Pursue opportunities in multifamily, residential, and commercial markets.
  • Evaluate and optimize the store’s product selection to meet market demands.
  • Relationship Management :
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key contractors, builders, and community stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for new accounts.
  • Sales Leadership :
  • Oversee and manage the contractor sales and retail store sales teams.
  • Drive accountability across the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase foot traffic and customer engagement.
  • Strategic Planning :
  • Analyze current sales practices and implement changes to foster a more hunter-oriented culture.
  • Drive the team to leverage Haney Builders’ operational capacity to maximize sales
  • Develop metrics and reporting to track and showcase growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales leadership in the building supplies or construction industry.
  • Strong network of relationships in the lower mainland, with a focus on contractors and builders.
  • Skilled in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
  • Relationship-driven approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a hunter mindset.
