PROJECT COORDINATOR, IT

The Opportunity
You are a customer-focused team player, with strong communication skills and excellent analytical skills. Working closely with project teams, you coordinate project activities to help ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
You assist with the planning and implementation of projects, and you respond to day-to-day communications as required.
The Role
Reporting to the Executive Director, Business Transformation, you add value by key areas of oversight such as :
- Assisting the Director, Managers and Project Managers with the planning and implementation of IT major projects and responding to day-to-day communications as required.
- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive document control procedures; tracking logs, project reports, status updates and updating document repositories.
- Attending project meetings and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Assisting in the procurement of services and materials for the relevant Project Managers.
- Preparing the development of project schedules, updating and reporting progress of the projects on a regular basis for the Project Managers.
- Coordinating the facilitated requirements workshops, design, review and team meetings and documenting and publishing meeting minutes.
- Entering and processing purchase orders, change orders and facilitating invoice approvals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date logs (Action / Decision, Scope, Presentations and tables).
- Maintaining project document library, including coordinating project close-out documents.
What you bring to the team
You have IT project administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
You have experience with tracking program and project issues, risks, and changes, and with creating reports. Experience with project financials would be an asset.
You have the demonstrated ability to drive toward results, and you ensure high-quality standards and requirements are met.
A post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business or an IT related discipline would be an asset.

Additional information
The target salary range : $55,700 to $69,600 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
Starting salary may exceed the target range on an exceptional basis.
