  • Participate in the implementation and enhancement of payroll systems (, SAP, UKG).
  • Develop and maintain payroll process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

Reporting & Year-End Activities:

  • Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee year-end activities, including T4 and benefits reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll information and documentation.

For this role, you’ll come equipped with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PCP or CPM certification (NPI) or working towards these certifications
  • Proven track records of exceptional delivery in high volume, complex payroll environment
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership, SME or supervisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, collective agreements, and best practices.
  • Experience with payroll systems (, SAP, UKG) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
