The Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented accountant who thrives on accuracy and process improvement. Youll play a crucial role in managing our financial operations with particular emphasis on complex reconciliations across multiple systems and insurance carriers. Working alongside two bookkeepers youll ensure consistency and precision in our accounting functions.

What Youll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP / AR journal entries and trust accounting
• Perform complex reconciliations across multiple insurance carriers and internal systems
• Conduct inter-system data reconciliation and billing verification
• Handle fixed asset management and month-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis to inform business decisions
• Prepare and file year-end statements GST returns and T4s
