Job Summary :
The Collector is responsible for managing andcollecting on a trade accounts receivable portfolio with thepurpose of maximizing liquidity and free cash flow.
Average Portfolio size 15M / 1500invoices /
Must haveexperience in Oil & Gas and / or Manufacturing / B2B / ElectronicBilling / Fast paced environment / GET Paid / SAP / High Radius /
Preferred candidatewith experience minimum 35 years in collections. BS undergraddegree preferred.
Responsibilities :
Ensure timely collection of accountsreceivable (3rd party invoices) through regular followup withcustomer AP departments via email and telephone on assignedaccounts.
Entailssending statements past due notices and escalations.
Collect outstanding invoicesgathering information on invoice disputes and creating invoicedispute records for distribution and subsequent resolution.
Input notes incollection system regarding submission resubmission disputes andapproval dates.
Identify delinquent accounts and take action to preventreoccurrence and / or escalate
to Credit Manager Salesand Operations as needed.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including thosewithin the Billing Center of Excellence Sales Operations Tax andTreasury to support collections proper cash application and timelydispute resolution.
Recommend uncollectable debit balances for expensewriteoff research duplicate and overpayments submit refund requeststo Collections Manager where applicable.
Review aged credit balances to ensureadherence to the Companys escheatment policy.
