Your future role on the team
As a member of the electrical engineering team in the Trail,BC office, you will apply established calculation and design methods when
preparing plans, schematics, lists of materials, lists of cables, technical
specifications and project estimates for
a major regional utility client. The
projects span electrical, automation, and instrumentation work, with emphasis
on extending the lifecycle of existing hydroelectric assets in the area. You will work with the team of experts in the
Trail, BC office and will have access to mentors throughout Canada and our
international offices.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringMember in good standing with EGBC1-2 years of experience in engineering as well as proficiency in reading and preparing electrical schematics of various types (single lines, three lines, and interconnection drawings)Available for short-term assignmentsKnowledge of MS Office and other database applicationsAbility to draft electrical schematics in AutoCADBasic knowledge of HV / MV / LV apparatus and safety in electrical installationsAsset : Bilingual (English and French) spoken and writtenAsset : Knowledge of power systems (HV, MV, LV)Asset : Knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME and EMTP-RV softwareAsset : Field experience in the hydroelectric or mining & metals industriesAsset : Generation engineering experienceAn overview of BBA’s total reward
