About the Role :
As a Cloud System Analyst at ATCO, you’ll play a key role in supporting and optimizing our multi‑cloud environment across Azure and GCP. You’ll work alongside a collaborative cloud team, helping ensure our platforms are secure, reliable, and ready to support the evolving needs of the business. From day‑to‑day operational support to partnering with project teams, you’ll be the go‑to person who translates technical requirements into practical, well‑designed solutions.
In this role, you’ll also contribute to ongoing monitoring, cost optimization, and the overall health of our cloud environments. You’ll take a proactive approach to performance, capacity planning, maintenance, and event monitoring—ensuring our cloud systems are running efficiently and effectively. Your work will directly influence the stability, scalability, and innovation of ATCO’s cloud offerings.
What You Get to Do :
Support and maintain ATCO’s IaaS and PaaS cloud environments
Monitor, manage, and automate cloud services and infrastructure
Troubleshoot cloud issues and contribute to root cause analysis
Perform key admin tasks : security changes, provisioning, and service account oversight
Review patching, maintenance, and backup requirements
Monitor and report on cloud costs to ensure budget alignment
Provide on‑call and weekend patching support
Manage AVD provisioning, performance, and decommissioning
Maintain accurate cloud documentation and review vendor materials
Translate business needs into cloud technical requirements and solutions
Ensure alignment to enterprise cloud architecture and support solution design
Stay current on ATCO cloud IT solutions, service offerings and emerging technologies
Report on cloud usage, performance, and optimization opportunities
Understand the issues and implications and work with Cybersecurity and Enterprise Architecture on proposed cloud technical solutions
What You Bring :
Post-secondary education in Information Systems or a related field
Current Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-)
Skilled in Linux and Windows OS, storage cloud and OpenAI
The ability to create reports for monitoring, analysis and decision-making
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Skilled at translating functional processes and technical requirements to support the integration of ATCO cloud technology solutions
Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, non‑technical language and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to build strong working relationships
An innovative mindset, capable of creatively solving problems and improving cloud infrastructure support processes
A proven track record in identifying, proposing, prototyping, documenting, and overseeing the execution of cloud technology solutions
Availability for emergency after-hours support
