• Lead discussions with various stakeholders across different teams (technology, compliance, trade desk, internal controls)
• Utilize understanding of the trade order lifecycle and order data (across OTC derivatives and listed products)
• Attending meetings to understand scope of the work
• Documentation and gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Work with work with both technical and business resources, as well as respective leads with given workstreams
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide
• technical solutions to meet user needs
• Manage JIRA tickets
• Create and manage data mapping documents, test cases & testing of items developed
• Updating knowledge base
• Data reconciliation
• Create Elastic Search queries to determine data / ETL requirements for the project

Business Systems Analyst, Capital Markets - Data Analysis (Derivatives) - Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst and / or Data Analyst with strong documentation and testing experience
• Recent 2-3 years of experience in Leading the team and good communication & stakeholder management
• 5+ years' experience within Capital Markets
• Ideally has experience across various asset classes (OTC derivatives, Fixed income etc.)
• Demonstrable experience independently communicating with various stakeholders (e.g. trade desk, vendors, technology teams, etc.)
• Candidate must be well-versed in ETL (to determine data / ETL requirements for the project)
• Previous Data Modeling experience - different types of schemas
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• Takes initiative on the tasks and be accountable
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
• Self-starter
• Strong analytical skills

Business Systems Analyst, Capital Markets - Data Analysis (Derivatives) - Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elasticsearch - commonly used engine for pulling data
• Experience with Python - Scripting, to access and manipulate data
• Trade surveillance experience
