Billing and Collections Clerk
Job Description :
Join our client’s Accounting team as a Billing & Collections Clerk! We’re seeking an individual who can ensure precise and prompt processing of client billings while effectively managing accounts receivable collections.
Alongside these primary responsibilities, you’ll also provide support across various areas within the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with legal assistants to draft and finalize accounts
- Maintain accurate records of firm receipts and daily deposits
- Keep client collections reports up to date
- Participate in monthly meetings with partners to review accounts receivables
- Proactively follow up with clients regarding overdue accounts
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
- Completion of a University or College Accounting program
- Preferably 1 year of experience in professional services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with legal accounting software and document management systems (e.g., iManage) is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to foster relationships and deliver exceptional client service
- Self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and in team settings
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to exercise good judgment and respond positively to feedback
