Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Uxbridge, Ontario. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various tasks in the accounting industry such as processing invoices, managing payment cycles, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:- Maintaining precise records of customer credit- Handling invoice processing, including matching them to purchase orders and entering them into the system- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges- Conducting account reconciliation and investigating any discrepancies in invoices/payments- Managing weekly payment cycles, including matching payments to supporting invoices- Using Microsoft Excel and other software for data entry and other tasks- Working closely with the accounting team and independently as required- Handling month-end accruals- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations- Good understanding of account reconciliation procedures- Experience in invoice processing- Good command of Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks- Familiarity with Oracle for managing accounting databases- Familiarity with the process of handling purchase orders.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
