The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead - As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Healthcare Buildings team, you'll lead complex electrical design projects that power critical healthcare facilities. From concept to completion, you'll apply advanced technical expertise, mentor emerging professionals, and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.

Your Impact

• Lead electrical design for healthcare facilities, including power distribution, standby generators, lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, security, and communication systems.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards while introducing innovative technologies to meet project objectives.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and drawings using industry-specific software and tools.
• Manage contract administration and client services, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Participate in proposal preparation and business development activities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• University degree in Electrical Engineering; Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design for Canadian healthcare buildings, including Class A facilities.
• Expertise in sustainable design practices; LEED accreditation is an asset.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit and Bluebeam Studio is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of P3 projects and healthcare facility requirements.
• Strong ability to lead complex projects and mentor team members.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
