The Buyer is responsible for strategic procurement of goods and services to meet the company’s operational requirements. This includes identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery while upholding quality standards and cost-effectiveness.

ResponsibilitiesProcure materials and services aligning with cost, quality, and delivery goals.Collaborate with departments to address supply issues affecting operations.
Interface with suppliers and internal teams on procurement and project activities.Monitor market trends and perform risk and opportunity assessments.
Analyze costs and implement cost-saving strategies.Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve financial savings.Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage contract compliance.Utilize ERP system for purchase order generation and inventory management.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.
Qualifications3 to 5 years’ experience in similar position.Proven experience in procurement. Printing industry is a must.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. (Can do attitude).Familiarity with MRP systems and procurement software (ERP).
